Integral College in Brighton invites you to a dynamic course on

‘Integral Theory and Integral Life Practice:

Ways of Transformation’

taught and facilitated by Rex Brangwyn & James Clifton.

Rex Brangwyn and James Clifton have developed a course!

Many of you know the profound effect the theory and practices of Ken Wilber’s Integral Model have had on our work and personal growth. The model integrates the best of ancient and modern knowledge and life practices into an exciting and effective new system.

James and Rex are bringing this work to life in a course structured over 6 months to give you 9 full days of balanced cognitive and experiential learning. We begin and end with weekend intensives, with 3 Saturdays and one weekend in between [dates below].

Mentoring and coaching is available throughout the course from the trainers. We are being mentored through this course by Clint Fuhs from the Integral Institute.

Integral Theory gives us the most complete toolkit for analysing and understanding anything we choose to examine. We believe Integral Life Practice [ILP] gives us the most complete toolkit for individual and collective transformation. [see articles below] Our goal is to bring this body of work to life for you through experiential and cognitive learning, so you can positively effect your health, personal development, relationships, work and the world.

You will:

• Become familiar the basics of Integral Theory [see links below]

• Learn to use the psychograph, a map of the psychosocial stages of development and multiple intelligences, to guide your personal development.

• Get to grips with your potentials and pitfalls in that development.

• Understand the interplay of Mind, Body, Spirit and Shadow, and learn how to work with them all.

• Learn Meditation and Attention Training and how to use them in conjunction with other practices of Mind, Body, Spirit and Shadow work.

• Take a look at your life’s purpose, and develop practices to help you manifest that purpose.

• Use your current practices, and add others into an integral framework to enhance your growth.

• Become part of a dynamic, pioneering learning community, with access to a ‘buddy system’, integral coaching, and a wealth of materials – videos, podcasts, writings and journals to support your transformative work.

Course Leaders

James Clifton

Transpersonal and Integral Psychotherapist and Counsellor / Coach

I have been working for over ten years with couples individuals and groups within varied communities in the UK and Europe.

I have studied and practiced many disciplines from the great wisdom traditions, East and West, for 25 years, and incorporate an integration of those practices in my personal and professional life.

I have been studying Ken Wilber's work for two decades including the Integral model and approach born out of his discoveries. I have attended trainings in USA at the Integral Institute.

My aim is to bring this Integral wave of consciousness to the UK by encouraging and supporting others to manifest their full potentials.

Rex Brangwyn

BA Hons DO Osteopath, Kinesiologist, Trainer

I have had the fortune to train in some of the great wisdom traditions both East and West, and been involved in teaching for many years [martial arts, meditation, holistic health models]. This has enriched all aspects of my life, and my work as an Osteopath, Kinesiologist and Trainer over the last 25 years.

My studies of Ken Wilber's Integral model has been the final stage in bringing all these skills together to enhance their overall effect.

I have led, run and taught groups for many years in a variety of subjects and formats. This course combines all the areas and styles of study I have had the fortune to be involved with in teaching and practice.

I am committed to bringing this work to my community and into the wider world, because I have seen the way it can positively impact peoples’ lives. I will make this material compelling and useful, transformative and fun to learn.

TESTIMONIALS

'Many courses explore theoretical perspectives, some undertake practical training; but Rex and James take you on a transformative journey making theory experiential and experience meaningful. The course encourages you to: think your body; feel your mind; investigate your shadow and explore your spirit in the unified pursuit of an authentic integration and joyful expansion. Do it and be the change you want.'

Martin [2007/8 course]

"I'd encourage everyone to do this course – a learning journey that opened my eyes, heart and mind. A place where I experienced connectivity, deep work about myself, along with, and supported by some new magnificent friendships. Run by two very special men, I'd like to honor and thank them for this life-enhancing teaching."
